Update- In the waning hours, the 109th Congress has extended the 30% Federal Tax Credit for Solar Power created by the Federal Energy Policy Act of 2005 through Dec 2008 in House Bill HR 6111. This is good news, but we need a longer period of time to allow economies of scale to kick in for Photovoltaic installations. Call your congressman and let them know we need this extension, and also to increase California solar power rebates for consumers. If no acted upon, the 30% Federal Tax Incentive will revert to 10%, effectively killing off most Commercial and Large Residential Solar systems.
Newsflash- Jan, 2007 - The California Public Utilities Commission has passed the CSI (California Solar Initiative) which will pump 3.2 Billion (That's Billion with a B) dollars in incentives into California's Solar economy over the next ten years. With that push, it has stimulated the Solar Power Industry to a frenzy. Don't be left out! With the Federal tax credit of 30% for systems until the end of 2008, there will be a huge demand for solar power!. Call us today to request a free quote and analysis of incentives available for your home or business.
